We had been looking at different styles of bookcases for a while, but when we saw this photo on one of our favorite west coast blogs, we knew the espresso brown see-through case was the answer. We can admit we had never thought of these for tapas display, but what an awesome idea, right? And the white binders as food labels? The historic Rice Mill is one of our favorite venues in Charleston, but we honestly weren’t thinking about this room when we added this furniture to our line. The first time we delivered our “Deluxe L” there however, changed our minds forever. As you can see here, the natural tones and textures of our furniture looked terrific against the backdrop of brick interior walls and gorgeous hardwood floors. And at only 85.00 per section, it’s a terrific value too.
At our first meeting with this meeting planner she handed us this card and said, “This is awards night.” Our first thought was, “Yikes! we’re going to have to hang dragonflies all over the ballroom!” She went on to explain that her events always start with a piece of paper. In this case, she had seen all the different blue and green crystals on this dragonfly card and knew that would be the theme of her next event. So we started with the silver cachepots and matte satin linens you see here, and added subtle blues and greens throughout the ballroom. Her vision was fully realized with a stunning lighting system that washed the ballroom in greens and blues all evening.
